During COVID 19, there aren’t very many things to do. Most of us are staying home and looking for new things to do to keep us busy. One easy thing to do to occupy you for a while is cooking. This seven-layer dip is an easy quick and delicious recipe that anyone can make and everyone will enjoy.
What you will need:
Medium size bowl
Large Serving Platter
4oz Sour Cream
4oz Cream Cheese
1 Can Refried Beans
1 Pack Taco Seasoning
your choice of Salsa
1 Bell Pepper
½ A green Onions
1 Can of olives Olives
You start with a medium-sized bowl and blend the taco seasoning mix and refried beans together and spread the mixture onto your large serving platter. Next, you mix the sour cream and cream cheese together and spread it over the beans. Then you top the layers with your choice of salsa and place it in the fridge for about fifteen minutes.
While the layers are in the fridge, you can start on the guacamole. You’re going to need about two avocadoes and cut them and put them in a bowl and add salt and pepper and you can add a spoonful of mayonnaise but that is optional. Once the fifteen minutes are up you can add the guacamole to the layers and put it back in the fridge until you are done chopping the other ingredients.
Once the layers are back in the fridge you can start cutting the bell peppers into about 1-inch rounds. Next, you use about half of the green onion and chop it as finely as possible, and cut the olives 3 or 4 times. When you take the mixture out of the fridge you can add the bell peppers as a layer and then a big layer of cheese then the green onions and olives and top with another sprinkle of cheese.
This recipe is great for a taco night dinner and it is something easy to make that everyone can enjoy. I made this recipe for my family and our family friends and it was a hit, everyone loved it and by the end of the night, the whole 9 by 13 pan was empty. I love this recipe and I can’t wait to make this again.
