A Review a of the Playstation 5 Along With Games to Go With it

Written by Lucas Hede (Features Writer)

The state of play for the Playstation 5 came out a bit ago and left quite a lot to be desired. After waiting months people were excited to see what new stuff Sony had come up with for the PlayStation. Sony had said before it was going to focus on indies and third-party games in the State of Play so fans were hoping for news on lots of games like Crash Bandicoot and Five Nights at Freedy’s: Security Breach.

During the State of Play, they gave an update for the new Crash Bandicoot 4 which was recently announced to give fans a quick look. They also gave release dates for Oddworld: Soulstorm and Kena: Bridge of Spirits. They gave a look in for gameplay of Five Nights at Freedy’s and Solar Ash. In the end, they gave us news that the Playstation 5 will be getting an upgraded version of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake.

Fans are a little disappointed because many were hoping for a big trailer about a new game or maybe a trailer on some of the large games coming out soon like the God of War sequel. Horizon Forbidden West is also a really big game that is set to come out in the latter half of 2021, people were really hoping for an update on that.

If you are an owner of the Playstation 5 here are some games that might interest you. Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales debuted on both PS4 and PS5 as a launch game for the PS5 that features miles as the main character, better graphics, cool and engaging combat, and being able to swing around town at will. Another really cool game is Hitman 3. The third in the main series Hitman 3 is a stealth game where you go on missions and assassinate targets in weird and clever ways. Created by IO Interactive this game rates at about 4.5/5. The final game I will put on this list is Sackboy: A Big Adventure. Sackboy is a platform game for both the PS5 and PS4. A spinoff of the LittleBigPlanet series, this game follows Sackboy in 3D. Make your way through Ocean and jungle by solving puzzles and finding clues to make your way through the game. Rated a 4.7/5 Sackboy: A Big Adventure was made by Sumo Digital and published by Sony. Hopefully, this list gave you an insight into what games to buy if you are a PS5 owner or maybe encouraged you to want to buy one. Overall the new Playstation looks really good and is definitely worth a look into.
