During quarantine we are all learning new recipes. These recipes are both very easy and very tasty. Both recipes are very flexible and super fun for groups or just for you!
Since summer is coming up I decided to choose a classic summer favorite but quicker and easier to make. This dessert is super easy and only takes about fifteen minutes and four ingredients to make. This is good for a group of people because it makes a lot, it’s quick and easy.
You need one tbsp of butter, twenty-four ounces chocolate chips, ten ounces large marshmallows, and graham crackers. The amount of each ingredient will vary depending on the size of the skillet you use. For this recipe I used a ten and a half inch skillet.
First, preheat your oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Melt butter into the skillet covering all the sides and pour chocolate chips into the skillet covering the bottom and place marshmallows on top of the chocolate chips covering them evenly. Bake for seven to ten minutes depending on how toasted you like your marshmallows. Remove from the oven and serve with graham crackers.
Another recipe to try is a very easy milk tea with boba recipe. All you’ll need is quick cooking tapioca pearls, which you can buy from Amazon or Target, black tea bags, hot water, whole milk, and simple syrup. This recipe makes four cups but you can make more or less still using the 2:1 ratio of tea bags to water ratio.
First, make your quick cooking tapioca pearls according to the bag and let them soak in simple syrup while you make the rest. For the milk tea, boil four cups of water and put eight black tea bags into the water and let steep until the water is completely cooled. To assemble the drink, scoop tapioca pearls into a glass to taste and one cup of tea into each glass. I added two tablespoons of milk to each glass but you can add more or less depending on how strong you want the tea, you can also add simple syrup if you want the milk tea to be sweeter.
Hope you enjoy!
