Lego Ninjago is Quietly Rising

Even though not many people know of the existence of Ninjago, it is still a quietly buzzing topic. As of May 26, 2017, 74 episodes have been aired in seven seasons, as well as a TV special in-between seasons six and seven. This show uses factors from previous ninja stories and shows. But this involves a completely new plot and involves many changes and characters. The fact that this show contains futuristic technology is very entertaining.

On January 14th, of 2011, society changed. The first episode of Lego Ninjago was Aired. The show is set in the fictional world of Ninjago, with a setting inspired by East Asian myths and culture. The land is divided between Ninjago and the Dark Island. The Dark Island is where the Overlord previously resided. This place has an underworld, where evil beings such as the Skulkins reside. The Serpentine tombs and the tomb of the First Spinjitzu Master are places where many things are forgotten and hidden. This story is similar to Lego’s product line: Bionicle. The characters all have certain element properties such as Earth, Fire, LIghting, Ice, Energy, and water.  This show includes many historically designed buildings and traditional clothing, but Ninjago is also in a more traditional setting. With large skyscrapers and larger buildings like in cities today a modern-based technology and cars.  But this also has futuristic vehicles, modern electronics and semi-robotic exo-suits, and other futuristic technology.

The Lego Ninjago is voiced by a lot of incredible actors. One of the most popular actors that voices in the new Ninjago movie is Jackie Chan. He has been a star in dozens of incredible films, including The Karate Kid, Kung Fu Panda, Around the World in 80 Days, Mr. Nice Guy, Supercop, and many more. In the Ninjago Movie, Jackie Chan voices for Sensei Wu, this character is a very honorable and wise man. He is very elderly but also like a father to the ninjas. Another important character named Lloyd Garmadon is voiced by Dave Franco. He has acted in many shows and movies including Scrubs, 21 Jump Street, and more.
