The Cross country season has started and meets have already begun. The competition is tough but they are no match for our teams!

Starting off the season, the Varsity girls cross country team has had five meets so far this season. The meets have taken place at Stanford University, Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, Half Moon Bay, SLV, and Simpkins Swim Center.

The boys were rewarded with first in the Freshman/Sophomore race and second place of the schools overall at the Artichoke Invitational in Half Moon Bay. At the meet at Simpkins Swim Center, SLV faced Harbor High School and here at San Lorenzo Valley High School, SLV faced Saint Francis High School and Harbor High School.

The Varsity girls have taken first place in both of their league meets and the boys took first against Harbor at the Simpkins Swim Center. At the Stanford Invitational at Stanford University, the girls placed sixth. So far this season, the girls have placed in the top seven at all their league meets.

Our teams are running with the top dogs this year and they are crushing the competition. The girls have two wins for two races and the boys with one win out of two races.
